Day 66 and 67 at 365 Cards

Here is my card for Day 66 - White, White Space and Wings:

The sentiment is from Verve.  I think the butterfly is from the dollar store.

Day 68 - the 3 C's - Circle, Cross stitch, and Cream Colored

I love the letter challenges at 365 Cards but I can't do them all this week.  I wrote them down this morning and one was done.  I "found" some stamp sets in my bucket while cleaning out my closet (you can see in it now!) and decided that I was only going to use them for the next few cards.  The sets feel rejected if I don't use them :).  Here is my card for 3 C's:
As you can see I cut out a circle with my Stampin' Up punch, stamped on cream colored paper and added some cross stitch on the bottom.  This card was inspired from cards made by Julie at Paper Trufflez and Kristina at kwernerdesign.  I love their websites.  I think it turned out good and might be used tomorrow for mother's day.  That's the next project to complete, a gift in the thought processes.  I will share it if I do it...

Day 62 - Look Who's Talking at 365 Cards

Another bird card!  Can you tell I'm really addicted to birds right now.  In the past year I have bought ALOT of birds and bird themed decorations for my house as well.
The challenge was to have a speech or thougth bubble:
Bird Stamp: Old Island Stamp Company

I hope you enjoyed all my cards this last week.  Who knows maybe I will complete some in the next week as well. :)

Day 61 - Circles 3 Ways

So we had to use circles in three different ways.  I was inspired by Sophie's circle card and thought I would try another new technique.
The lighting is a little dark but it turned out so fun!  I have a circle card with circle paper and a circle sentiment and three round buttons.
Patterned paper: We R Memories
Sentiment: Verve
Buutons: My jar :)

If you never did you should.  These things are fun and FUN IS GOOD.
                              - Dr. Seuss

Day 60 - All that Glitters at 365 Cards

For this challenge we had to have three different colors of glitter.
This bird is another treasure I found in the scrapbook store this week.  It has all the glitter for me!  I did buy some Stickles as well but didn't use them because I liked the simplicity.  The patterned paper is from American Crafts, Letterbox collection.
A close up of glitter:
It has pink, blue and green glitter.  How Gorgeous!!

Day 59 - Moving Parts at 365 Cards

This challenge had me stumped.  I was not until last night that I remembered that I had this little digger stamp that might work.  Here it is:
In the up position:
In  the down position:

This card would be great for one of my nephews.  The dirt is brown flocking that I got at Michaels.  I have never used flocking but when I saw it in the $1.50 bin I thought it would be worth a try.
I really love how this card turned out!!

Day 58 - Crazy 8's at 365 Cards

We were to use 3 different items in 8's.  Here is my try:
This is not my favorite card but both my husband and son like it.  I have 8 gifts in 8 patterns and 8 large jewels.  I have no idea where all the bits are from, sorry.  This card is so big I will have to make my own envelope for it (or save it for my sons birthday).

Now it is off to bed, sports is over! :)  I will post the others tomorrow.

Day 57 - Ad Inspired at Day 365

Here is the ad that Gloria used for inspiration:
I loved the combination of white and plaid.  The frames on the walls inspired me so I used them as my inspiration.  Because I didn't have someone in mind for the card I used a chipboard bird instead of a letter.

The patterned paper and chipboard are from Stampin' Up.

Day 56 - Super Sketchy Sunday at 365 Cards

I went to the scrapbook store this week and found some new paper and stuff.  I thought I would use some of it to create a couple of cards for this weeks challenges.  In the end I made one for each day.
Here is the sketch for this week:

And my card:
I don't know what happened to the stitching but I like it anyways.  It adds a little green.
Patterned paper and bird label: We R Memories
